By accessing or using DocForge ("the Service"), operated by GetDocForge ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
DocForge is a PDF generation API service that allows developers to send JSON data and template selections via HTTP requests to receive professionally formatted PDF documents. The Service offers a free tier with monthly usage limits and paid subscription plans with higher quotas.
Upon registration, you will receive an API key that authenticates your requests. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and for all activities conducted using it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your API key.

Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor (Paddle). Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. You may upgrade or cancel your subscription at any time. When upgrading, prorated charges may apply. When downgrading or canceling, changes take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
The free tier includes 100 PDF generations per month. Unused generations do not roll over. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits or discontinue the free tier with reasonable notice.
You retain all rights to the JSON data you submit to the Service. We retain all rights to the Service, including templates, software, documentation, and branding. Generated PDFs are yours to use commercially or otherwise, subject to your plan's terms regarding DocForge branding.
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for paid plans but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, infrastructure failures, or events beyond our control. We may modify or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, your API key will be deactivated and your data may be deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
